More Improvements for Milton Keynes Buses

In line with manifesto commitments and local residents' requests, Liberal Democrats have extended the bus services further with another round of improvements in January 2004.

  • Evening service routes 1E- 2E - 3E were revised with 3E also serving Crownhill, and 1E extended out to Lavendon

  • Route 5 Bletchley to Wolverton has received new Bus shelters and replacement of shelters on route 14 will start in February.

These have mostly been financed by the parking income, which can only be used on transport improvements, and do not add to the Council Tax bill.

Since the Liberal Democrats took over the running of Milton Keynes Council there has been a steady improvement in the number of bus services introduced or subsidised by the council.
